Starting your fitness journey is exciting, and breakfast sets the tone for the day! A balanced option like oatmeal with fresh fruit and nuts, Greek yogurt with granola, or a veggie-packed omelet can give you energy. Eating before or after your workout depends on your schedule and goals—some people prefer a light snack like a banana before exercising for energy, while others save their meal for post-workout recovery. Remember, consistency is key—whether it’s nutrition or workouts, progress adds up, like those little dots in a 4k weeks life calendar poster. Every small choice counts! Good luck!
It's great that you're ready to start your fitness journey—your health comes first, so it's understandable that you've needed some time. For breakfast ideas, try starting with something high in protein and fiber to fuel your workouts, like Greek yogurt with berries and a sprinkle of chia seeds, or a veggie-packed omelet with whole-grain toast. Overnight oats with some nuts and fruits are also a great, easy option! As for eating before or after workouts, it depends on your body's preference and your workout intensity. A small meal or snack 1-2 hours before working out can give you energy, while a balanced meal after your workout helps with recovery. Hey Stephanie! Hope you’re feeling better now. Eating before or after is more of a personal preference. Some people have to eat before or they get nauseous; could be the opposite for others. Just make sure to not have carbs or fruit before you workout. Post workout is totally fine for carbs and/or fruit. Good pre workout food; (eggs, protein shake, meat, veggies). Hope this helps!
